Laws of God
8/21/97
Dear Gregory,
Thank you for the letter, and also the questions. First of all, I got your name from an e-mail message that I assume you sent to me. You must have accessed my material from a web site. This is not my web site, however someone liked my booklets, and with my permission decided to post them on his web page.
Your question regarding the laws of God. Many people seem to relate the laws that were given to Moses with the eternal laws of God. The ceremonial and sacrificial laws of Moses served for only a temporary purpose that pictured and demanded Christ’s death. These were the laws that found their fulfillment in the crucified body of Christ, which was nailed to the cross. They are no longer needed, therefore if obeyed would make a mockery of Christ’s death. The eternal laws of God such as the moral laws, laws of nature and creation, clean and unclean, etc., are not sacrificial ordinances that are against use, therefore these laws were not nailed to the cross. My two booklets; "Repentance and Obedience" and "The Seventh Day" cover the subject of the Ten Commandments, and what was really nailed to the cross.
I must confess, I do not understand the question of race in it’s fullest. Thanks to the liberal-minded churches of today we live in a world that totally ignores God’s laws of "kind after it’s kind". This of course is due to believing and teaching the falsehood that all people and races came from Adam. For Israelites to mix with other races will corrupt the Adamite flesh to not be able to receive the Spirit of God, which was the sin of Noah’s world. The apostle Paul called this sin as sinning against the genetic code and structure of the body (1 Corinthians 6:18).
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (KJV)
The spiritual barometer that I always rely on is that if Anglo-Saxon and kindred people can receive and understand spiritual truths of their Heavenly Father, then they are no doubt of pure stock. This is only my personal opinion. The race question can get very complicated for some people, because they tend to get overly concerned if they have mixed blood somewhere in their ancestry. The apostle Paul warned not to heed and depend on "endless genealogies" in 1 Timothy 1:4, and keep in mind the key word is "endless".
1 Timothy 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. (KJV)
The very fact that some people are concerned (such as yourself), means that they have the ability to grasp spiritual knowledge. I hope this has somewhat answered you questions. You might want to review again the booklets "The World Before Adam" and "What is Man?" which addresses this subject. My records show that the booklets mentioned in this letter were sent to you. God bless you.
In His service, Mahlon
